As a runner I have benefited greatly from improved breathing control and efficiency. I successfully trained for the Auckland Marathon using only Buteyko method breathing and can consistently run between 4:30 and 5:00 minutes per kilometre. My resting heart rate is now typically in the low to mid 40’s. An added bonus is that I now find that I need to drink less while running.
I believe Glenn’s Buteyko course to have been of enormous benefit to the health of our whole family.
