Help for Children Who Mouth Breathe

If your child is a mouth breather, suffers from asthma or allergies, has enlarged adenoids, snores, wets the bed, or gets frequent respiratory infections, we can help.

We run specialised programmes for children and teens in the school holidays. The sessions focus on games and exercises that have proven effective and fun.

The suggestions included here are to help your child get started on the path to better breathing and health. The guide does not constitute all or part of a Buteyko programme and does not replace medical advice.

Do not make any changes to prescribed medication, dental or sleep aids without first consulting your doctor or specialist.

For optimal results we encourage anyone with asthma or another breathing-related disorder to book in for a breathing assessment to determine if a Buteyko Clinic breathing programme is right for you.

If you have any questions about these guides or would like to know more about our programmes, please contact us on +64‑9‑360 6291 or
