Sinusitis

Sinusitis or 'sinus infection' is the inflammation of the lining of one or more of the nasal sinuses. This is usually caused by infection but can also be caused by allergic reactions or environmental factors.

Sinuses are the spaces in the bones of the skull and the face.  A sinus infection can cause a headache or pressure in the eyes, nose, cheeks or side of the head caused by a build-up of mucus.
