Most cases of COPD occur as a result of long-term exposure to lung irritants that damage the lungs and the airways, such as:
- Smoking (or inhaling second-hand smoke)
- Occupational exposures (e.g. dust or chemical fumes)
- Air pollution
- Severe and long-term asthma
- Chronic cough

I noticed an improvement within a few days. In the first week I was no longer using the bronchial dilators. Three months later I continue to improve."
